Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of the ErgLadder app and ergladder.com. By creating an account or using ErgLadder, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use ErgLadder. Questions: hello@athmetrics.com.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 to use ErgLadder.
• One account per person. Keep your sign-in to yourself; you're responsible for what happens on your account.
• You can delete your account at any time in Profile.

No tolerance for abuse

ErgLadder has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You may not:

• use a racing name or gym name that is offensive, hateful, sexual, threatening or harassing;
• pretend to be ErgLadder, Concept2, or another person;
• bully, harass or threaten other athletes, in the app or because of it.

You can report an athlete or block them from their ladder row or a challenge. We aim to review reports within 24 hours. We may rename, suspend or remove accounts, and remove content, that break these terms, without notice.

Fair racing

• Race your own results, yourself, on the Concept2 monitor you connected for the attempt.
• Don't tamper with a monitor, a result, a weigh-in, or the app; don't arrange results with other athletes; and don't use more than one account.
• Submit honest weigh-ins with a photo of you on the scale.
• We may review any result, and void results, Grit or ranking changes that we believe break these rules.

Your content

You're responsible for your racing name and anything else you submit. You allow ErgLadder to show your racing name, results and rankings in the service, and on public leaderboards and result cards according to your public-name setting.

Health

Racing on an erg is hard exercise. Check with a doctor if you're unsure whether it's safe for you, and stop if you feel unwell. You race at your own risk.

Gyms

Creating a gym is free. A gym's owner is responsible for its name and for who they share its join code with. If we ever charge for gyms, we'll show the price and terms before anyone pays.

The service

• ErgLadder is independent and isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Concept2.
• We may change, pause or end features, ladders or the service. ErgLadder is provided "as is", without warranties, and to the extent the law allows we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses.
• If you got the app from the App Store, Apple's Standard License Agreement also applies. Apple isn't responsible for ErgLadder or these terms.
• Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

Changes

If these terms change, we'll update them here and change the effective date. Continuing to use ErgLadder after a change means you accept it.
